Auslogics Registry Defrag 6.1.1

Auslogics Registry Defrag Editor's Review

Auslogics Registry Defrag is a free registry tool designed to compact your registry in order to improve computer performance.

The process is divided into three simple steps: first, the program will analyze the system registry and check the level of fragmentation. Next, the results will be shown in a report window for you to decide whether to take action or not. The program will show you how much the registry size can be reduced and the speed of the registry access after defragmentation.

After the completion of this process, the actual registry defragmentation will be scheduled for the next computer reboot. You can choose to reboot immediately or later on. When the defragmentation process is complete, you can also view a report in HTML file format containing a summary of the registry defragmentation and a summary of the hives defragmentationn.

Pluses:

Drawbacks / flaws: A scheduler would have been nice for process automation.

In conclusion: This appears to be a very good registry utility, worth trying.
